FAQ
How do you pronounce Cadencia?
Like Valencia — ca-DEN-cia.
What is Cadencia?
A phone notebook for musicality. You import a song, lock the pulse, and mark structure and accents yourself — then practice with a live count, loops, and speed. More tools (move vocab, party mode, choreo builder) are coming later.
Does it analyze songs for me?
No. Cadencia never auto-breaks down a track. You mark what you hear — the same habit coaches recommend on paper. Listening and noting is how musicality sticks; the app just keeps those notes locked to the music.
Who is it for?
Dancers working on musicality, coaches who already assign paper song notes, and anyone who practices or builds choreo and wants a part to loop without babysitting the scrubber.
Why not just use paper?
Same idea coaches recommend — listen and make notes — but on your phone, next to the track. What used to be a notebook page now lives where you already wait out a commute.
Bachata and Salsa?
Yes, both are supported now. More styles later.
iOS and Android?
Yes — both.
How do I get access?
Email me at leo@cadencia.dance and tell me you want in.
Is my music uploaded somewhere? Do I need an account?
No account. Your audio and notes stay on your device. Nothing from your library is uploaded to my servers.
Is it free right now?
Yes — free while I learn with early dancers and coaches.
How do I contact you?
